Vortex Vibe

This unique 78% layout on the Vortex Vibe provides a numb-pad on the right for any number crunching, but compacts the layout by removing the dedicated keys found on a standard Tenkeyless keyboard. This layout may not be appealing to everyone, but the option to switch between numpad mode and tenkeyless mode gives you plenty of flexibility.

Vortex Cypher

The Vortex Cypher is a 65% split space-bar keyboard with plenty of switch choices, including Cherry MX Silent Red and Cherry MX Silent Black. It’s nice to have arrow keys and navigational keys while keeping a smaller layout.

A unique layout with good build quality, keycaps, hardware programming, and more. Great keyboard for the money.

Happy Hacking HHKB

The HHKB is a polarizing keyboard in the community. If at all possible, try it first. The main downside is fully-plastic build, which some people love anyway. The layout is love it or hate it. Personally, I would pick the Realforce 55g over the HHKB for the better build quality and steel plate, but the HHKB still has to make it on this list for it's iconic compact layout.

Happy Hacking HHKB

Personally, I still prefer the original HHKB. Nonetheless, I am listing it here because many people prefer the Type-S.

The Topre 55g is my favorite switch on any keyboard. The Realforce also has a steel plate, furthering the solid feel of this Topre board.

The original. Buckling Spring is loud and clicky, but that's what makes it so special.

The Rode Video Micro is a compact shotgun microphone that I use to attach directly to my DSLR. It gets powered through the 3.5mm jack on the camera. There is no need for batteries. It comes with a shockmount and "dead cat" wind filter.

The 80D with the 18-135mm lens is a fantastic kit for YouTube. The lens is stabilized, so you don't have to worry about shaky footage. The auto-focus is quick and accurate.

This lens is amazing. It doesn't have image stabilization though - so you'll need a stable hand, a stable tripod, and some "Warp Stabilization" (A Premiere feature).

Great boot for every day wear, yet classy enough to wear to a wedding (in my opinion). There is ample toe room to prevent weakened muscles and posture problems.

Looks fantastic. Super practical, durable, and weather resistant.

Wool. Keeps you warm, and regulates your temperature. Super practical base layer.

Variable temperature control in celsius or fahrenheit, built-in timer, 0.9L capacity, gooseneck spout for controlled pours, and of course, a beautiful modern design in matte black.

Easy, simple, and fast way to make coffee. This doesn't take up a lot of space, and you can use it for travel too. Coffee turns out great with little bitterness. Especially if you buy locally roasted beans and a grinder.

The V60 pour over set gives you a ton of control over your brew. Some days I like using the Aeropress, and some days I prefer the V60. If I go with a little larger grind size, the V60 tends to give me a brighter cup with less body. It also pairs perfectly with the Fellow Stagg Kettle.
